Skin Check
All wrestlers are subject to skin check
All wrestlers are subject to skin check Skin checks are to be completed by officials unless medical professional is present (must be designated as onsite medical professional)
If medical professional is not available skin check falls on the responsibility of official/ officials.
Officials must identify potentially contagious skin conditions. On presentation below are some example.
Same Gender Skin Check
If official’s gender and wrestler’s gender are all the same gender skin check should be done with legal/ proper underwear on.

Mixed Gender Skin Check
If official’s gender and wrestlers are mixed gender (even just one girl in a room of boys) skin check will be done with legal uniform on. At no time should any participant be in their underwear if there is a mixed room.
If offical is a male, and wrestlers are female, the room is considered a mixed room
