- Scored when control is gained from a neutral position
- On the line takedown, both feet of one wrestler must be within the line.
- Takedown (Cradle): Holding a cradle does not constitute a takedown. A wrestler must meet the following criteria
Top (Advantage Wrestler)
Fall:
- When wrestle is on back/ pinning area for 2 seconds
- Either top or bottom wrestler can be pinned
- Pinning area inclides sholders and back
Nearfall:
- 2 point nearfall for 2 seconds in cretriera
- 3 points for 5 seconds in criteria
- Nearfall can only be scored against wrestler in the bottom position
Nearfall Criteria:
- When any part of sholders or both scapula are within 4 inches or less of mat
- Defensive wrestler is in high bridge
- Defensive wrestler is on both elbows

Escape:
- When defensive wrestler gains a neutral position
- Must be beyond reaction

Reversal:
- It is a reversal when the defensive wrestler comes from underneath and gains control of the opponent
- This can happen on the mat or in a rear-standing position
- Two supporting points must be inside or on the boundary line
- Two supporting points could be two supporting points of one wrestler or one supporting point of each wrestler
- If there is no action at the edge of the mat, the referee shall stop the match.
