Rosa Valadez
About Me
I currently reside in the San Gabriel Valley but I grew up in Echo Park for the majority of my life. Echo Park is minutes from DTLA, so I got to see all the changes from 1997 forward. I loved LA growing up, I have so many fond memories of the city. I also lived in East LA for a couple of years although, I am originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. I emigrated to the U.S. as a child with my mother and siblings. I have been a Substitute Teacher K-12 on and off since receiving my undergrad in 2015. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography from Cal State Long Beach. Through my undergrad years I got to learn a lot of the Adobe Software and consider mylsef pretty tech-savvy.
I have been married for 7 years and have three tiny humans who call me mom. I love being a wife and a mom, even when it gets tough. I am currently not working since I am still nursing my youngest and am the primary care taker of my children. When I'm not busy with mom duties I like to take a nap or go to the gym. I am very thankful for the opportuntiy to do this program online (otherwise I would not be able to) and very excited to see what the future holds for me.
